HTHA Inspection

HTHA is a targeted inspection that is used on items of plant that are susceptible to High Temperature Hydrogen Attack. This defect has been relatively unknown from an inspection standpoint. As technology has improved, so has the tools available to us to detect and size this highly detrimental defect. The inspection uses a pitch-catch Ultrasonic mode of propagation. This utilises Time of Flight Diffraction to accurately size and position the defects.
