Time of Flight Diffraction Inspection

Time of Flight Diffraction is an Advance method of Ultrasonic Inspection that utilises a Pitch-Catch mode of propagation. The inspection technique measures the time of arrival from tip diffracted signals that are emitted from the top and bottom tips of defects. ToFD is used for backwall monitoring, corrosion mapping, HTHA detection and sizing and weld inspection amongst others
