Positive Material Identification

Positive Material Identification is carried out to detect and confirm the elemental chemistry of a material. At Axis NDT, we provide this service by deploying a hand-help XRF analyser. This is a quick and effective way of determining the grade of material without having to take scrapings or leaving arcs on the surface of the material.

The XRF software delivers an elemental percentage which is then transported on to a report.

We can also provide Q10 material sampling that involves removing material and sending the scrapings away for laboratory analysis.
